Pop up stage card

I saw this pop up stage card tutorial on the SplitCoastStampers website. I had to make one just to see how it would turn out, and I think it turned out pretty good. It took me 3 days just to figure out how I wanted it to look but it was worth it.  

2011 Christmas Cards for Operation Santa Bags

 I got 59 Christmas Cards done for our "Operation Santa Bag" unit. My Sister & Myself make handmade Christmas cards plus mini albums and whatever else we can come up with, to make for our troops that we adopt at Christmas time. We get together with friends and family who also help us with making cards and help us get the care packages and whatever else we need ready for our troops. Thank you Provo Craft for your wonderful  Cricut Machines, Cartridges and other products that help us put together our cards..

 I love making these cute little mini books for any occasion. I just use cardstock, paper, embellishments, ribbon, glue and of course my cricut expression and gypsy.

Christmas cards

Well that time of year is just about here for me to start thinking "CHRISTMAS" cards.. You're probably thinking that I am crazy and saying to yourselves that it is too early to start thinking about and making  Christmas Cards.. Well I like to start making these cards early in the year, so that when my sister comes to visit me at ThanksGiving time, We have more time to spend with each other & spend time with other family members and go shopping. My sister & myself  adopt a unit and make handmade Christmas cards, to send out with care packages to troops in Afghanistan. I will also be making Christmas cards for "Operation Write Home", so that our military can send cards out to their families.

My husband asked me if I would make a retirement card for one of his co-workers and this is what I came up with.. I used "Life is a Beach" cricut cartridge & Gypsy..
